JWFF 2026 開催地決定！

本年度2026年ついに、那珂川町と水戸市で2会場開催が正式決定！
JWFF 2026 Official Announcement Two Venues Confirmed: Nakagawa Town in October & Mito City in December!

今年、ジャパンワールド映画祭（JWFF）は大きなスケールアップを遂げます。

10月：栃木県那珂川町　12月：茨城県水戸市

2つの会場で、国際短編映画祭を連続開催することが正式に決定しました！

那珂川町は「世界一美しい村」連合に加盟し、3つの美術館を有する芸術の里山。水戸市は日本三名園「偕楽園」や弘道館を擁する文化・芸術の街。この2つの個性豊かな場所で、世界各国から集まる監督たちの作品をライブ上映し、里山の食と文化、芸術の多様性を最大限に発信する一大イベントとなります。

JWFF 2026の特徴

世界各国＆国内の監督が集う国際映画祭 海外監督の新作を含む厳選された国際短編映画を上映。世界各国監督が来日し監督トークショー、パネルディスカッションなども開催予定。
生中継による国際交流 海外と生中継で繋ぎ、世界中の映画人とリアルタイムで交流。監督同士のネットワーキングや交流会も実施します。
地域の魅力を全力で発信 那珂川町ではオーガニックマルシェを同時開催。里山の魅力満載の体験ワークショップや、地元ならではの食とアートの融合を展開。
映画作りワークショップ 両会場で一般参加型の映画作りワークショップを実施。参加者が制作した作品は、本祭で特別上映されます。自分の想いをシナリオにし、プロの指導のもとで実際に映画を創る貴重な機会です。
授賞式＆賞金 グランプリをはじめ、各賞の授賞式を盛大に開催。

今年のJWFFは、ただの映画祭ではありません。

世界と日本の多様な価値観が交差する、里山と都市が響き合う、本物の文化交流の場となります。

那珂川町では「世界一美しい村」の豊かな自然と芸術の中で、水戸市では歴史と文化が息づく街の空気の中で、映画が架け橋となり日本各地の多様な文化と世界を体感。

Japan World Film Festival (JWFF) is scaling up significantly in 2026.

We are proud to announce two main venues:
・October: Nakagawa Town, Tochigi Prefecture（Main Venue)
・December: Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture

Nakagawa Town — recognized as one of Japan’s Most Beautiful Villages and home to three museums — offers a rich satoyama landscape and artistic atmosphere. Mito City, known for its cultural heritage including Kairakuen Garden and Kodokan, brings urban energy and historical depth.

This year’s festival will be a grand celebration of international short films, blending global stories with local food, nature, and culture through live screenings, workshops, talks, and networking.
